The address is: Melkwegstraat 69, The Hague, coordinates 52.064301, 4.345390. With over 100 berths, we are situated on the key waterway connecting Rotterdam, Delft, Leiden, and the Dutch lakes. From the Schie-Rijn Canal waterway, it is only a few hundred meters to the entrance of Binckhorsthaven.
Visitors are very welcome, and there is almost always a spot available. Call or WhatsApp the harbor master at 06 – 27 48 17 10 to be assigned a berth. Designated visitor berths are marked with a green sign; for these, enter the harbor on the southern (starboard) side.
The berth fee for visitors is €1.57 per meter per night, including electricity, water, and VAT. Payment can be made via the Blue Water App or by PIN with the harbor master.
Visitors with electric boats are also welcome, but unfortunately, we do not have facilities to charge your batteries.
Before entering our harbor, you will pass the Binckhorstbrug. For reasons unknown to us, the bridge lights always display double red. However, the bridge is usually opened upon request. Call the bridge operator at 070 – 353 99 46 to announce your approach.
Visitors are welcome to use all our facilities, including floating clubhouse “De Bever”: Open on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Free Wi-Fi: Log in to the network Vlietstreek-gast.
Dogs are allowed in the harbor but must be kept on a leash. Please clean up after your pets and dispose of waste in the designated container.
There are two sanitary areas with: 4 toilets, 4 washbasins, 1 shower. For warm shower water, insert €0.50 per 7 minutes. To access the sanitary facilities, use the access code provided by the harbor master at the keypad near the door. Please leave the facilities clean after use.
To exit the harbor by foot: Press the large red button on the post to the right of the gate.
To enter the harbor by foot: Enter the access code on the keypad to the left of the gate and end with the # key. The harbor master will provide the code.
An AED and a first aid kit are available on the upper floor of the clubhouse (follow the AED signs).
A general waste container is available at the harbor exit. For boat and engine maintenance waste, you must dispose of it yourself. Our marina does not have facilities for hazardous waste such as used oil, paint cans, or chemicals. Please take such waste to your local recycling center. Do not leave maintenance waste behind.
If you spill fuel, report it immediately to the harbor master.
Harbor Regulations for Visitors
Visitors must register upon arrival and will be assigned a berth by the harbor master.
Visitors must move or remove their boat upon request by the harbor master. Refusal may result in the boat being moved at the visitor’s expense.
Peace and order must be maintained, without causing inconvenience to others.
There are light-blue posts along the jetties with two types of electricity sockets: The lower socket (with stainless steel casing) provides 16 amps, allowing devices with a combined maximum of 3,500 watts. The upper sockets provide 6 amps, allowing devices with a combined maximum of 1,300 watts. If you exceed the limit, the power will trip. Should this happen, contact the harbor master.
